Our Mission

Based in Orangeville, Ontario, our charity is dedicated to connecting people through the power of music, especially during life’s most vulnerable moments. We believe that music transcends words — offering peace, connection, and dignity where language often fails. Our mission is to provide compassionate musical support to individuals and families navigating end-of-life journeys, grief, and emotional hardship.

What We Do

Our organization bridges the gap between community, care, and creativity by offering music therapy programs tailored to those in need — with a special emphasis on palliative care, mental wellness, and compassionate companionship. We bring professional, skilled musicians into hospices, long-term care facilities, hospitals, and private homes to perform and engage with individuals nearing the end of life with their personal choice of song.

Key Programs:

1. Musical Transitions – End-of-Life Music Support
We offer personalized bedside music sessions for individuals in their final days or hours. This service is designed to provide emotional comfort, reduce anxiety, and help facilitate a peaceful passing. Families are also invited to participate, transforming these moments into shared, meaningful experiences.

2. Healing Harmonies – Community Music Therapy
We facilitate accessible group and individual music therapy sessions for people dealing with grief, trauma, illness, or isolation. These programs are led by volunteers and musicians who understand the emotional landscape of healing through sound.

3. Notes of Hope – Outreach & Education
We run workshops, public events, and community talks that raise awareness about the therapeutic value of music. Our outreach efforts also train volunteers and caregivers on how to use music meaningfully in end-of-life and supportive care settings.

4. Songs for the Soul – Professional Musician Collaborations
Through our paid artist-in-residence program, we engage local and regional musicians to deliver curated live performances in care settings. This program supports both the emotional well-being of patients and the artistic livelihood of musicians. The live loud annual concert is a free outdoor concert for anyone to attend, this raises money for our causes and gives back to the community we care about so much.
